Virtuemart 2.0 was recently launched a few weeks back and it has great capabilities. Many of the issues like code structuring, MVC pattern, etc has been taken care of by the VM developer team and I must say, they have done a really freat job.

Since, VM 2.0 is very new, a very few extensions are available for this in the VM extensions directory and most importantly the payment plugins. The payment gateway integration process is far more advanced in VM 2.0 then that in its earlier versions.

There are very few payment plugins available for VM 2.0 and it brings great pride to us to declare that we have created the first payment plugin for VirtueMart 2.0 in India, for India based Payment gateway (CCAvenue). We are currently working on developing plugins for other gateways as well like EBS, Payu, etc
